After spending years living in Thailand, we discovered something we couldn't stop talking about. The fruit. From sweet Nam Dok Mai mangoes and delicate mangosteen to creamy Monthong durian, juicy longan and vibrant red dragon fruit, the flavours were unlike anything we'd experienced before. Many of these fruits are difficult to find outside Southeast Asia, and when they do appear, they're often seasonal available only for a short time, very expensive or simply not the same. Whenever friends and family came to visit us in Thailand, they fell in love with the fruit too. Before heading home, they'd always say, "I wish we could get this back home." That simple comment inspired Fruit Tropics.
